Minsan may Isang Puta

by: Miss Mike Portes
As I read this selection, the story tells that most of the Filipinos suffered because of poverty. That poverty could led that Filipino women who stayed outside at night to earned more money.

For me, it is not necessarily to a woman to be like that, but it is their own choice where or what should to do in order to lived, give everything, sacrificed for her family for them to be  happy and be satisfied with their needs.

This story addresses the MORAL and ECONOMIC fibers of the Filipinos. It opened the moral consciousness of the people on the "reality" of the poverty in the country. The story is not about "sex" nor prostitution but the truth that has to be bared to understand the truth "life" of the Philippines.
It shows that a GOOD MOTHER will "prostitute" themselves for their children and did not think the consequences that they will face anymore and it is addressing also the passiveness of the most children to the sufferings of their mothers.
